    just wondering do any BTBs attend any hotel wedding events or shows before signing up for the banquet? Is there much difference in the perks given when signed up at these shows compared to normal times?

    chloelee: no additional $ charged as its not considered a hot date. Hot dates in Dec r 11.12.2012 & 20.12.2012.

    Floren: Yup! Usually there r better perks when u signed during wedding shows. I'll strongly recommend u to go for wedding shows of hotels that u r interested in. Cos apart frm d extra perks, u get to c their ballroom dolled up in actual wedding deco, sample some of their food & in some cases, d bridal room. Also, there's usually booths set up by wedding vendors such as PG, VG & bridal shops. Hee, best thing is there's also better perks if u sign up on d spot.

    I love going to wedding shows. Went to 7 wedding shows b4 I finalize my venue.

    Hi.. I'm 2012 btb and want to hold my luncheon in 3rd or 4th quarter..
    But the tong Shu is not out yet so unable to make any booking.. Hmmm
    Anyone know when will the Tong Shu launch?

    yeah, i'm getting married in July 2012 (planned that way anyway), though it's a year from now, I'm clueless on where to start except getting a venue fixed and solmenisation date fixed, how to negotiate, i'm so green!

    i think its lunar 8th mth. i waiting for tt too.. jus booked my bridal package last week. hopefully by tt time i'll be in time to booked the banquet..

    @adelhyc, that's a good start! Are you having your solemnisation on the same date as your wedding banquet or different? After you have gotten your venue and date fixed, the next you can start on is your pre-wedding photoshoot. These days there are many BTBs who go for overseas photoshoot like Taiwan, Bali, Europe etc. Most bridal studios do include pre-wedding photoshoot and gowns etc for SG and Taiwan. For overseas like Europe, Bali you may want to engage a professional photographer and gown rental from a BS but that would be of higher cost.
