My friend had gone for Ala carte service which I find quite attractive and services and gowns she get looks nice too. Below are some ideas of how to plan the major services:

Gowns - go for local (rather than overseas) online gowns blogshop so that you could try on before buying. My friend get her gown (with alternation service). I have try the gowns in <Gown warehouse> and they looks good.

Photography - invited a friend who is interested in photography, can saved up to >$1K

Makeover - I have gone for trial session from Makeupwifstyle offering makeup services and looks

All these save up >$2k compared with bridal boutiques packages.

I advised my bff for ala-carte wedding services as how I did mine. But it's just a little tedious as you need to do a lot of homework (thats why i'm helping her out on looking for this and that).

So this is what i recommended her:
    01. Photographer I manage to found a freelance for her (<$1k)
    02. Cupcakes at www.cakeavenue.com (<$250)
    03. Florist = flower couture for bouquet, rom centerpiece etc (<$450)
    04. Gown rental for pre-wedding shoot + actual day = Secret Bridal (found this on a selling platform surprisingly, emailed them and their shop opening is around June or July if i'm not wrong. (No hurry as her wedding is on October, pre-wedding shoot on September). (<$200 per gown)

Venue, invitation cards etc will be settled herself so for that i'm not so sure alrdy.

Hi Kate, I also signed up with Makeupwifstyle for AD & Night Makeup package. I really love the radiant bridal makeup and elegant hairstyle, not too over the top. Reasonable rates too. Happy bride

I had a gown from JB already but their mua service is really expensive if they are to come to Singapore.
So now looking for a professional mua at reasonable rates. I have checked out Makeupwifstyle services and their rates seems very reasonable <$550 within my budget

    Wow, thanks for the tips!

For makeup and hairstyle, I go for MakeupwifStyle. Their rates are value for $$ with their good quality of Makeup. I like especially the hairstyle they created for me and the hair accessories goes very well with my princess theme. Luv it!!
