Any brides hired wedding planners?
Hi,
Any brides hired Do-wed as their wedding planner? Any advice? Are they good?

Are you intending to engage one? I was contemplating but their cost are so expensive... wonder if it will be better off doing everything ourselves but this comes with extra time and stress!

Hello! I considered hiring one, but their fees are around $4000-4500 for full wedding planning. IMO that's a bit too steep for the services they were offering. Note these are not the high-end ones. There are some which charge around $6000-10000.

brideinboots, I agree with you. The rates quoted are purely for their services and this is not inclusive of the stuffs which we have to pay for yet. This is why I am considering whether engaging a wedding planner is really necessary though a load of burden will be off the shoulder if they are hired.

We hired a wedding planner. My HTB was not too keen, but I insisted on one. I did it mainly for someone to coordinate the actual day (so that my bridal party and family will not be too bogged down and enjoy themselves) and to do theme conceptualization.

tanjoeann, this is exactly what I am looking for too!! I am thinking of hiring a wedding planner to come out with activities so that the dinner will not be a traditional sit down mundane type as well as to do theme conceptualization :p Care to share who is your wedding planner?

Tanjoeann, I'm intending to engage Eternally Yours as our wedding planner too as their rates are the most competitive! Can you please PM me and let me know how much they quoted you for theme conceptualization and AD coordination?
My dinner will be held at ConradWhere will yours be? :p

I'm quite interested to know what the wedding planners do for AD coordination. Since I am having a simple dinner reception without gatecrashing or solemnization or such things, I am thinking no need.

To make your preparation less stressful, I recommend hiring a wedding planner. For my wedding, I chose Butterflies and Cakes as my planner and they did a wonderful job!

They really are very helpful. I have no experience in wedding planning so I was having such a hard time. Good thing, we decided to hire a wedding planning. The preparation went on smoothly.
