Anybody knows details of chinese marriage customary?

I know there are several chinese "events" such as bed setting, dowry, combing hair ceremony, tea ceremony, guo da li ... etc

When, how and what to do?

Anyone got any idea?

first which dialect group you are different dialect group got different practice
second what is your religion also different practice

normally if you go see for your wedding date that person should be also give you the date to bed setting and guo da li


Not everyone goes through combing hair

When you planning for your wedding?

if next year then you have to look for those who has hundred years of tong shu they will be able to give you the date but not the timing as timing has to wait for this year tong shu which will be out around may or june.
tea ceremony to be done during your wedding day.

We din picked auspicious day or look through "tong shu". Hence, not sure about the dates ...
