Confused Anyone knows of a halal restaurant that caters for wedding?

    Hi all,

My partner and I are scouting for a wedding venue to hold our wedding next year.

Being muslim couples with not too very high budget, we were hoping to find a Halal resturant to cater to our wedding needs.

So far as i know, quite known for these traits are Lagun Sari and Tepak Sireh.

Do you know by any chance if there are more in Singapore?

hi sitir, im not sure of halal restaurants which do weddings, but i do know that many caterers are halal. if you are able to choose a venue (like outdoor or indoor) and cater food, you will probably have more choices in terms of venue and food-wise.

I hope its not too late to reply this.

Apart from Tepak Sireh, they have a new location up for Lagun Sari @ Joo Chiat ( i heard there are 3 floors avail now)
You may want to try Desa Kartika? I had been to my cousins wedd over at TAKA.
Quite pleasing i guess but it seems to be like 'Makan & go' cause its a bit crampy so no chance to catch up with makciks to have a chat.

Overall the ambience and atmosphere was good.

tepak sireh restaurants is really very bad.
i have never enjoyed the food/ambience.
if you're budget is limited, you got to put your priority straight.
like, do you want good food, how many people, big or small place?
like what syz j said, restaurants tend to be very claustrophobic, so i think "bawah blk" is still pretty convenient?
but if you rather have a fuss free, small venue and small guests count, i guess the restaurants will fit your bill.
