Anyone ROM in Korea b4?

Hi there,

has anyone done solemnization in Korea before? As we are giving wedding banquet a miss. So we are hoping to hold our ROM, honeymoon and photo shoot all in Korea. Just a simple wedding so as to save the cost and spend on honeymoon instead.

However, was told that Korea has no official certificate of marriage. So we ain't sure whether to abort this idea or if there are any ways to go about it to have it certified that we are Married in Korea on that specified date?

Would be great if anyone can share some thoughts. Thanks

Oh really? Where did you hear that from? hmm. I was even planning on having my solemnization there but i guess i should look for other places. :/

I checked with the wedding planner and it seems there is no legal force in it. Which means it is not recognized i think. gotta find out more tml.

Haven't tried it but U'm sure it's great because South Korea is really an amazing place.

im keen to do my vows (again) in korea too, as the place was the first holiday destination my hub & I went :p. how and where can we do this in korea, need advise pls. ^^

is jeju island a good place for this kind of events? i would really like to hold my ROM there
