Hi Soulz, its not true that guest pay for everything, put yourself in their shoes, wil you give $168(min) for a wedding dinner at Ritz-Carlton hotel for a distant relatives that you only meet once or twice a year?
It is up to the couple to decide where their dream wedding to be so be prepared to pay the price.
You had to look at your crowd, are you very young that most friends are still in uni or just started work? Are your crowd mainly distant relatives or close friends?

agreed with Jiemin. you really have to know who you are inviting. if you invite mostly students, you can expect not to cover your cost.

Yes, that's completely okay. You just have to fix the menu and know how many guests will be coming.

i think it's feasible as long as you plan it well and do the budgeting wisely. there are actually nice places that have a reasonable price.

it can be if you just plan a small one like a dinner for your family or relatives and some close friends.
