I heard for some big bridal boutiques, you need to signup their package first before letting you try their gowns... its seems like signing blank cheque to me... as don't know if can find anything suitable and may later get stuck in the package you don' t like.

I do not mind small bridal so long I can know and fit which gown suit me before committing with the pkg. Most important is value for money... I am on budget .. so must go for good quality and reasonable price

There is also another thread on affordable Bridal Package, may be useful for some of you:

Well, smaller boutiques have fewer gown options

Went for big boutiques, their quality of gowns really give it to them! But for the pricing, I think it's abit way too off from my budget. So I went for a budget boutique located at Sultan Plaza level 3 to try my luck and I've signed up for their AD package for $1100 nett (deduct off 2 blazers as my husband and dad doesn't need 'em anyways). It's so far the cheapest pricing i've asked around haha. I've chosen a Taiwan imported gown, quality not bad but most importantly is the lady in the shop who will pay attention to your needs and consult you which types of gowns suits my body types etc. For the package i've signed, hope to see a good result!

Size doesn't matter. You may go with any size boutiques. It only depends upon the quality.

    pros, cons of both

big boutiques: variety of options but can be very busy in catering to u esp. during peak seasons (lots of other customers)

small boutiques: can ask for discounts/great deals, but fewer choices in gowns

Big boutiques guarantee you satisfaction from prev. customers, esp if they've done well in their services
