I just went down on friday n the shop was much much smaller than the one in MS.. N things has not been packed so it was super cramp.. There is one other couple doing their fitting too but there is only one fitting room... We even had to take turn to change n use the mirror... And the weird thing is my coordinator told me that once i decided on the gowns im not allowed to make any changes, otherwise per changes is 200 bucks? Why got double standards huh? My coordinator ia vina... I duno the correct spelling...

Hi, I signed up under Bliss as well. When do i make an appointment for my Make up trial? plus fitting??
U can just call them to schedule a date to go down for first appointment. It will be fitting for the gowns. They will ask when u want to take the photoshoot too, roughly which month, if u want, u can set a date with them
anf select your preferred photographer and MUA so they can block them your photoshoot date. the trial makeup and fitting will be around 1 week before actual photography

Thanks!! but another thing, when do I call for appointment? like how many months before my AD? some say 4 months before AD, but i find it too rush.. some say 10 months before cos i might not like first fitting den go for second fitting... arghh.. help pls!
Maybe about 4-6 months before AD . Sufficient time for you to make admendments if needed. And I think got wider range of gowns for you to choose..

I find that the earlier you start to choose your gowns, the best it is cos you dont have to panic as the big day is nearer. Also, if you really cannot find anything you like during the first selection, you will still have time to go down and choose again. Worse come to worse, you still can MTM.
That is what happened to me last year as I was unable to find anything OTR. Hence, I went for the MTM option. Luckily I went to choose earlier and have time to MTM. The gown turns out great and I hope my advice is useful to all the brides to be.

Hi welda, when u say MTM, can u keep the gown?
Nope. You will still have to return the gown. But I am glad that I did MTM as I find that the gown will fit me prefectly and get to choose what are the areas to hide (like tummy) and what kind of designs you like to put into your gown. And confirm you are the FIRST bride to wear it.
However, the downside of having MTM is that you have to keep the design simple unless you dont mind paying extra.

No problem.. perhaps you can ask them again if they allow you to let you keep your gown at a low price. Do research on what are the designs you like to have in your gown and let the designers know what you want so that they can also suggest/ show you similar gowns. In this way, you will get a real feel of what it will be like.
Perhaps I am picky. Hence I find that MTM is much better than taking their OTR gowns which are not really what I wanted/like.

Yes! the place is so much smaller. 1 fitting room with 1 mirror inside. u r like changing right infront of everyone except there's a curtain to close. haha. Designs, i manage to select different gowns from my first selection, so I think it should be better, the longer time u spend there, the more u r not sure what to choose!! I mean unless u can select the one which u super like lo. Wish u like brides.

But prepared that those new arrivals will definitely be chosen by quite a number of brides.. I nearly chose the same gown as my friend as I didnt know that she went to the same bridal studio.. Otherwise it will be so funny..
Have fun and prepared to go down for a few times to find the perfect gown for yourself! ;P
