Hihi all, just want to share my experience a little now that we had finished with our PS. Basically I did some research before choosing BlueBay, I like particularly their sample photos and their service (e.g. not pushy... unlike another Bridal Shop that we visited .. the salesperson face turned black when we never sign up. Bluebay instead, say that you can go and walk around and compare first, as they are confident about their packages). My htb likes their photos and service as well.

Well, what can I say? So far, We are glad with our decision of signing up with them, and we hope it stays that way. Our coordinator, Maggie, is very accommodating. She does her job particularly well, sometimes even extending her concerns about our photoshoot-related matters via phone messages to me. You know, like help me communicate with the Taiwan side, how's the preparation going... did I manage to take the flower scenes that I like... etc etc.. I like that communication with Bluebay can be easier than some other Taiwanese Bridal Shops because Bluebay has a local outlet in Singapore... so usually I can just communicate through my SG coordinator and ask them convey to the Taiwan side if needed.

Anyway, when we were in Taiwan, the service there remains superb as well. My dresser XiaoWen, puts on a smile, and asks me not to feel bad coz I told her I'm embarrassed that I had to choose my gown for like 2 or 3 hours. She said it's her job and she is glad to help me, and most importantly is to help me find something that I like and will look nice on me. I probably tried more than 10 gowns.

My coordinator Aileen is also a meticulous being, jotting down tiny notes while communicating with me the PG and hair styles I like, so as to help me convey to the Photographer and make up artist when they come back.

On the day of the PS, My photographer Kiwi also communicated the kind of PG styles I like. He patiently looked through my homework (consisting of the sample photos I like) which I had prepared for a few months, and communicated about the routes and other PG related matters with me. My MUA Jianing also listened to my preferences, and gave me suggestions. For example, 2 of the hairstyles that I like are quite similar, so she suggested that I try another hairstyle instead, which I did (and also like it).
We had a blessed weather, and with PG assistant XiaoLuo also helping out on the PG-related matters (with the equipment/camera flash.. and making those wavy skirt effect.. etc), everything really went on smoothly.

On the Photo-choosing day, we were kinda overjoyed when we saw the photos as we feel that many of the photos are just too nicely taken. We did topped up a lot (at least that's what we think..)... we had chosen more than 100 photos.

Overall, we were quite satisfied with everything, and we are now in the editing stage. But as our marriage date is next year end, we aren't particularly rushing them for the edits. They do put priority for those brides that need to get their albums done soon due to their AD dates, which I think is reasonable. Business is (very) good, so sometimes if you requested them something, and it's not those urgent requests, they might forget coz they are really very busy, but just remind them again will do. I do get occasional messages asking how is my photo editing stage going, etc.

Their layout aren't particular fantastic, but you can always show them sample layouts and they will try and do something similar for you. Basically they will keep editing the photos and do the layout for you until you are satisfied, without any additional charge for subsequent edits.

For more reviews or their photo portfolio, can visit http://www.facebook.com/bluebayweddingsingapore and http://www.facebook.com/BLUEBAYWEDDING.TAIWAN too
hihi can u share with mi roughly hw much u pay for the top up of the photo ? thanks

So even though I'm married, im still reading this forum just to hear how other btbs are doing. And it seems that most are having problems with their albums usually.

Since their service is quite consistent and positive, why not take their photography services and just skip their album? This was what I did!

I just paid for the photography and I did all the post processing of images, the album layout and printing on my own. So it was pretty fuss free because I knew exactly what I wanted and I can do it myself.

In fact you could also get more pics maybe? Or more gowns to wear?

    Just a suggestion.

Personally I think taking photos and choosing gowns were the best part to planning a wedding! Hehehe

Hello! May I know where did you get your albums printed? Can you please hook me up? MANY THANKS!

    Hi Ladies!
Just came back from my holiday trip with Hubz in korea (seoul) .. wanna share with you guys my experience with Bluebay!

Why did we sign up for this package:
    Reason being:

They are not pushy! As we dislike hardsellers.

We passed by Bluebay's roadshow in Tampines, and was told to go taiwan for photoshoot in the first place. However, we told Tina(one of their promotors) that we just got our korea tixs, it would be too expensive for us to purchase another $2K plus just for photoshoot. As we purely wanted to go Korea for our holiday, and we did not intend to sign up any nor neither look around and compare. Eventually,we got persuaded to go Seoul for our photoshoot as Tina and Elsa (coordinator stationed in singapore) said no one has ever done it before with bluebay and they would like us to be their first korea customer. Morever, they assured us with black and white copy that there will be no extra charges, eg: those who have look around with other taiwan bridals should know as they often give you a superb price but ended up paying more than expected and besides that, they also told us they have a outlet in Delfi Orchard which most of the other taiwan companies don't have.) I personally think by having an outlet in singapore is better because you can get to try on the gowns and you have sufficient time to choose your gowns and it's more convenient rather than wasting your precious time in Taiwan trying out the gowns.

The package was excellent! As we just have to pay $3888, excluding transportation ($600 per day/$1200 for 2 days)- this includes tour guide with a van that takes you around Seoul for nice sceneries and a translator.Bluebay(Lao Da, Elsa, Maggie) is so courteous to help us find the transportation as it was our first time in korea, and we were unable to reach any of the transportation services there or to find it online. Bluebay is so helpful to plan our routes as we did not really have much ideas where were the good spots to take. Therefore, if you girls are considering, might wanna take up this offer! You may need to also pay for the ampules(depending on weather, and how many you use.. Hubs and me shared 3 altogether as we went there during winter, price was reasonable!)

Elsa helped me out with the gowns that i've chose. despite changing again and again, elsa did not make a single noise But in fact, she took out more gowns for me to try and also helped to give precious advices. She's very accommodating to my expectations too.

I was given 3 gowns to carry over and trust me,if you girls are planning to take more, drop the idea! 3 is heavy enough. I had a night gown, a short gown, and a white long gown. not forgetting your HTB side and it's roughly around 10-15kg in total! you will have to use their EMS post office to ship your gowns back as your luggage won't be able to contain so many.'FYI their EMS is quite cheap, and the shipment will take 4-5 days to arrive at your doorstep.'

My photographer was KIWI and Make-up Artist was BABY.
They're very professional and had work for years in this industry. We were so fortunate to have them. They are very friendly and patience with us, as they had waited for us in the airport due to our flight delayed for about 1-2 hours.

On the day of arrival, we told them, we want to include Nami island as one of our destination and without hesitation after so much has been planned, they changed the routes for us and spent a day before our actual shoot, travelling to all the destinations to explore whether it is suitable.

Baby's makeup skills is amazingly good as she had transformed me into a princess that day. With Kiwi's shooting skills: totally loving the photos I'm having now!!

Fighting with -6 degrees celcius (Whole day), our faces could barely smile naturally after a long day, some photos did turned out bad, however, kiwi and baby did not show any impatience nor give any black faces to us but instead, they re-took the photos over again. Baby was so thoughtful to pass us our down jackets after every shoot as it was freezing cold.
Not forgetting about the tour guide and the translator, as they really brought us to beautiful sight seeing places to take our shoots. even when they alight us, they would follow and help me out with my long gown and belongings despite the weather. we were a little disheartened as we did not manage to take the snow as it wasn't snowing on that day.

Anyway, We were supposed to end the day at 8pm, however, due to jams and long distance travelling, our photoshoot extended to 11pm. Kiwi and Baby did not take any complains nor show any tiredness.

currently, we have just finished choosing our photos and are very excited to see our actual album which was told by maggie that it would take 4 months to complete.

Overall,Really thumbs up to their superb services!! Hubz and i are very pleased and satisfied with their professionism. We are glad that we chose the right bridal for our photoshoot!! =)

    MANY THANKS TO :
LAO DA, ELSA, KIWI, BABY, MAGGIE.
