Hi ladies, I have 2 referral coupons from Blue Bay too. It's under their new referral scheme.

With the coupon, we can each get 6 free additional photos on top of the 30 photos in the package. Very worthwhile coz can save at least a few hundred!

If you are planning to sign up with Blue Bay and interested in this deal, please email me jazel.tan@yahoo.com.sg.

Thanks! (^^)

Hi syloh,

This is a good idea, to se their photography service and process our own pictures. Which is the bridal shop in Taiwan u went that have this service? I thought all come with a standard package where you have to take their album? Thanks in advance :)

I've already taken my pics last yr. and it's really quite an experience :)

So even though I'm married, im still reading this forum just to hear how other btbs are doing. And it seems that most are having problems with their albums usually.

Since their service is quite consistent and positive, why not take their photography services and just skip their album? This was what I did!

I just paid for the photography and I did all the post processing of images, the album layout and printing on my own. So it was pretty fuss free because I knew exactly what I wanted and I can do it myself.

In fact you could also get more pics maybe? Or more gowns to wear?

Just a suggestion.

Personally I think taking photos and choosing gowns were the best part to planning a wedding! Hehehe

Hi syloh,

I have not take any photos, currently still looking for which one to go. I am planning to go Taiwan too. Went to the roadshow last week in Vivo but all comes with standard 30 plus photos which i think is not enough hehe...So i think it will be good to have all the raw pictures. $2000 is quite ex without the album though. Where did you go to print the pictures into album in Singapore? and how much for an album?

Hello ml1206,

Oh it's with bluebay!

When we sat down to browse their photos and talk about packages, we kinda like gave them hints to not "smoke" us. Haha

My hubby is a photographer and I used to be in similar role like him. So they had to come up with a different package in order for us to buy. And maybe because I bought the package almost 2 yrs ago? Not so popular then maybe?

So, we asked for raw images for all the pics we selected, and NG pics.
No album, no groom suits, no pics. Only all images that we selected in raw format burnt in a cd for us. And I had 5 gowns to pick.

I paid $2000 It's not the cheapest I would say.

Have you taken your photos?

Hi Pampered31,

i would say the package are similar, they will try to offer you what they offer during roadshow. I bought mine at delphi and they spend 3hours just attending to me, helping me to compare prices with other BS....

However if u are going to delphi, remember to make an appointment before going. So that u can have their full attention.

Dear all,

May I check if it is better to buy the package at the roadshow or the shop at Delfi orchard? TIA! :)

Hi all,

Just to share my experience with Bluebay. HTB and me booked our package at Suntec during the Jan'12 fair. We actually didn't do much of a "homework" before we went. They were the 1st store we saw upon arriving. There was this man who was standing in front of their area, sincerely welcoming us to take a look in there. We went in and sat down, just expecting to listen and check out what they can offer since many of my friends were telling me that "you have to really sit there for a few hors and bargain with them". We were attended to immediately by the lady named Yoyo. She showed us some of their work and we were "attracted" to it. She said that "it's ok if u dont sign up with us, but at the end of the day, we just want to give u some idea of how u want it to be". So after explaining to us what they can offer us, we signed up with them for the PS and the AD. cost: 3860. Might seems quite ex, but i truly enjoy the PS and i love their service and the gowns.

We arrive at the store on the first day after touching down, after realising that we have not eaten anything, they immediately called for delivery for us (we didn't pay a single cent). After lunch and some discussion on where u want to go for the PS and what kind of "feel" u want, we headed to try out the gowns. The "gown" lady was very experienced. I basically went there without any idea of what i want to wear. she took quite a few gowns for me to try on, after trying some, u roughly get to know which kind of design suits u better. After like 1hr plus of trying, i finally decided on 3 night gowns and 2 white gowns.

We just did our PS on the 220312 (just a few days ago). it's simply AWESOME!!
PG: Kiwi
MUA: Baby
Assistant: Xiao Luo

i actually didn't know that Kiwi was one of the more popular PG in BB, we were simply lucky to have him. and i think my MUA is a magician. she doll me up so beautifully that i almost cannot recognise myself as i'm actually not the kiind who goes out with heavy makeup. she make me realise i could look so differently.

Oh, btw, they prepared balloons and pedals for our shoot without any extra charges.

They were all very professional with their work is all i can say.

We went to pick our photos yesterday. We were actually given only 30 photos from the package. We ended up choosing 70 extra at a fairly reasonable price. (that's how much we love the photos!!)

Afterall, i'm truly satisfied with their service and now, i'm looking forward to choosing my AD in July at Delfi.
Hope this lengthy entry helps a little for those who are heading for the PS with BB. Just simply go there and have fun!! :)

Hi all btbs,

I'm a guy here and I have just came back from my photo shoot on 27/03/2012.
I just want to share my experience here, so that all others can know more..

It's my gf's wish to take the shoot in TW, so I started looking at all TW bridal companies...
I did all my homework as I'm paying for most of the wedding expenses.
As a guy, I think we are more concerned about whether it is worth it..
I created accounts in this forum, as well as sgbride/weddingforum, so that I can know more about different bridal companies.
I have read pages and pages of good and bad comments from various forummers.

I bought my PS package in Aug last year at an event in Vivo.
We sat down at most booths from Taiwan, and we feel Bluebay is better.
My gf also told me that she had heard gd comments on Bluebay.
We asked for Daxiong and Jianing's availability first, before I make the downpayment.

In between the date that we have signed and the PS date, Bluebay always take the initiative to give us calls to confirm a few things.
I also took the chance to double check with them on our selected PG and MUA during these times.
And when the date is nearer to the PS, they also called a few more times to remind us to bring the necessary things, which I feel this is good.

Fast forward to 1 week ago, on the first day we've reached Taipei, we were greeted by the staffs there and our coordinator asked if we had our lunch.
I said not yet, and my coord asked if we would like to try their "bian dang". I agreed and she order 2 for us without any charge.
Once we had our lunch, my gf started to choose her gowns.
Note that gowns were not many, but there are definitely some nice ones...

On the 2nd day, we had our shoot.
Our MUA, jia ning, did makeup for me and my gf, and I had to agree that she is as good as other forummers had mentioned.

My gf insisted on certain routes and scenes, and most are met without any hiccups.
My gf also asked for quite a lot of props like balloons, flower petals etc, and Bluebay prepared without failure.

Our PG, Da Xiong, is also as good as others mentioned.
To those who have not been to the shooting places before, the scenery seen in the real place and the photo albums is so stark in difference.
My gf was telling me so many times that she is scared that the photos is not nice.
But when selection date came, she is so happy with the raw photos taken, and all her fears proved unnecessary.
This shows how important a good and experienced PG is required, and I think Da Xiong met the expectation easily.

Our assistant, Xiao Qiang, is worth mentioning here.
I particularly remembered how many times he tried to throw the gown's tail dress to create the "wavy" effect.
Also, at our beach shoot, as it was damn windy over there, he had to throw the flower petals for many times, to create the perfect shot, and he did all these with a smile and laughter.
Along the day, Xiao Qiang also helped to take NG shots using our own DLSR, requested by my gf.

When we go back to select the photos, again my coord helped us to order dinner without charge.
The end results are great, as mentioned above.
Do note, there isn't any single bit of pressure on us to choose the photos..
We were given a price, which we think is very reasonable after the 1st selection, so in the end, we took extra 60+ photos..

Of cos, we still have not seen the album layout, so I can't comment on this part yet..
But all in all, I think the service and PS result from our trip there is a satisfied and enjoyable one..
