Booking the wedding banquet

Hi,

My wedding is in November 2014, being a bit kiasu so I'm starting my research first.

Anyone has any tips on what to ask or what to look out for in a wedding package.

Also, does anyone have any idea if I'm going to book the wedding package this year, is there any way to negotiate with the hotels to lock-in the price at the 2013 prices? Is this an option that's been tried before?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or feedback.

Much appreciated.

Best is also to decide roughly how many tables would you want to have for your banquet, how many relatives and friends as a rough gauge
