one way is to list the things that you need in the solemnisation. after that, you can do some canvassing on the materials and other things that you need. i suggest that you also look for the quality of the material and not just the price.

Be wary of services because some have hidden costs.

Yeah I think DIY-ing is quite a good idea! You can DIY your own favours or invitations and it'll help to save costs

    Hi,
For budget expenditure, I think it is cheaper if you go for alacarte. Gown you can buy online and alter with a seamtress, cost ard only $200-300 can get decent one.

For makeover services, I have engaged Makeupwifstyle.com for its bridal makeover, the rate is very reasonable and pretty makeover. It includes also 1 mum makeup. I love its hair accessories, very new (some bridal boutique give quite old and worn out type).

For photography, you can get a friend with hobby to do it for you with a decent ang bao.
I think the above will help you to save a considerable amount for your event.

    Good luck!

you can have your solemnization at pretty cafes rather than restaurants. Saves you time and a lot of money on decor, and they tend to be cheaper too!
