At that price range only restaurants can. Havent seen a hotel dinner at that price range yet. Ya considering having your wedding dinner at a restaurant? It is about $400-$600 per table.

I am looking for ROM banquets at cheaper price too. Preferably 7-8 tables for 5-8 courses. Any recommendation, please?

hi ah teck, welcome to perfect weddings! :) i do know of some:

- Carlton hotel with min 10 tables at their Esplanade room.
- Copthorne Kings hotel with min 5 tables on weekday
- Hotel Re! with min 5, max 8 at Re!Union
- Mandarin Orchard with min 8 at Suite
- Regent Hotel with min 5, max 8 at Boardrm II-III

you can download those hotels' price list here at wedding banquet price list for reference. :)

how many tables you looking at leh? maybe for that budget u can consider restaurants like the others have recommended lor. hotels will cost double that amt lor... =/

what restaurants do you recommend since no hotel has this price range? And I only need 6-8 tables only.

A recommendation from me...

I held mine at Copthorne Kings, only had 6 tables on a Sat dinner, about S$900 / table for 8 course. Very good service, look for Anthony or Gan (F&B director i think). Great food from Tien Court restaurant (their chinese restaurant). Hotel room isnt that great though...

Does anyone know of good restaurants for recommendation? Budget btw $800 to $900 per table for a small group of 10 to 15 tables.

Ah Yat abalone at Grand Pacific hotel table start 888+++ for min 20 tables or Ah Yat at Turf City 500++ or Peony Jade at Clarkle Quay min 18 tables that what I had found online :)

Plus their Turf City is having some promotion with up to 20% off total bill.
Quite worth it except the decoration is very red and old.
Suggest couples use the money saved on the additional discount and hired a venue decorator. They can do a good job.

Depend on hotels, not all are significantly cheaper.
some they used their weekday pricing for weekend lunch.
Some even applied their price throughout the day, price for lunch and dinner is the same, applied normally to restaurant.
However it might be cheaper as people will not want to get drunk so early in the day.

These days, it's hard to find a decent yet affordable banquet. My friend juz spent a big lump sum at intercontinental.
