    Cocktail wedding/bridal dress altering

    Hi all,

Please help I'm new to this forum. Just ordered a short cocktail white dress for my solemnisation this November from a US online retailer. However the dress came out too big for me and I need urgent alteration so that it'll be wearable on my big day..

Do you know any good tailor to recommend? I heard that Pennisula has quite a lot tailors but never had any experiences with them.. and I don't want my dress to be spoilt also..

    Thanks again for helping

Thank you for your suggestion Jiemin

I purchased my dress from Nordstrom. Their white dresses in price range 80-150usd were within my budget (mine was discounted, from normal price >200usd to 100usd, brand is Suzi Chin).

Quality and design are top notch.. however I realized their measurement is big. Normally I wear S-XS/US 6/EU 36 clothes (from international brands like Topshop, Zara, Forever 21). So when I ordered US 4 (considering their measurement chart) for my dress and it came, it was to my surprise and disappointment that it was too big. The tube dress cannot hold on to my body it will fall off..
