Thanks dear
Think I'll go and apply the Manhattan card =) With all the expenses coming up, any rebates would be good

Hi, I am new here. Just want to know, is this cashback with the Manhattan card a seasonal promotion or is probably here to stay?

Hi shan,
Supplementary card can be swipped too, but bear in mind it will share the capped with the main card holder.. Meaning, if your hubby is the main, and you are the sup, even if you both swipe $8000 in one billing cycle, you are still entitled to only $200 cashback.. Try to apply for one if you can, right now, you can apply a maximum of 2 Stan Chart card and get $80 cashback for each approved card! So, if you and hubby apply for 2 each, you will get $80 x 4 = $320 cashback! Good deal isn't it?

jeremychew, are you referring to the reply I posted for the $80 rebate for each approved card? If so, I would like to clarify that NO spending is required to activate the Standard Chartered Credit Card. No minimum spending and no one time activation.
Both hubby and I got our $160 (for 2 cards) credit each in our bank statement and it has been 'lying' inside for a couple of months..
Hope the clarification helps.
