    * All others (0.5%)

    The Fine Print

    * For groceries spending at Carrerfour, rebate is only 0.5%
    * 2% cash back on dining excludes food & beverage spend within hotels and wedding banquets held in hotels.
    * Cash will be credited only upon accumulation of $50 worth of rebates and paid only 1 month after each quarter. If $50 threshold is not reached, the rebate is rolled over to the next quarter, up to a maximum of 15 months
    * Rebate is capped at $800 per year (non-calendar)

    Good for

    * Paying for general spending and petrol

My apologies, it is capped at $800 for a period of 12 months. Probably didn't spend that much to hit $800 a year.. Hehe..
Thanks this is soooo detailed! Good to know

Hello Chris, don't mention it! The above is for the Citibank Dividend Card.. You may refer to the quote below for the Standard Chartered Manhattan Card.. =)

Quote Originally Posted by jwjw View Post

For instance, your statement is dated 22 July, the first month will be 23 Jul to 22 Aug, 2nd month will be 23 Aug to 22 Sep and 3rd month will be 23 Sep to 22 Oct. Spending within these 3 months should be kept at $4000 for the max $200 rebates, spending more than that doesn't give you any points, etc.

Do remember that the range of :
    $1 - $999 @ 0.5%
    $1,000 - $2,999 @ 1%
    $3,000 and above @ 5%
is per MONTHLY only. Meaning if you spend $1k on the first month, $3k on the 2nd month and nothing on the 3rd month, the total rebate will only be:

    $1000 x 1 % = $10
    $3000 x 5% = $150

In this case, you will have to spend more to hit the $200 maximum rebate. Hope it is clear and helpful.

Hi, I am new here. Just want to know, is this cashback with the Manhattan card a seasonal promotion or is probably here to stay?

    Hi shan,

Supplementary card can be swipped too, but bear in mind it will share the capped with the main card holder.. Meaning, if your hubby is the main, and you are the sup, even if you both swipe $8000 in one billing cycle, you are still entitled to only $200 cashback.. Try to apply for one if you can, right now, you can apply a maximum of 2 Stan Chart card and get $80 cashback for each approved card! So, if you and hubby apply for 2 each, you will get $80 x 4 = $320 cashback! Good deal isn't it?

jeremychew, are you referring to the reply I posted for the $80 rebate for each approved card? If so, I would like to clarify that NO spending is required to activate the Standard Chartered Credit Card. No minimum spending and no one time activation.

Both hubby and I got our $160 (for 2 cards) credit each in our bank statement and it has been 'lying' inside for a couple of months..

    Hope the clarification helps.
