Customs for Hokkiens
Any hokkien brides out there who can advise on the bridal customs such as guo da li, actual day procedures etc.?
Both bride and groom are Hokkien.
Mum is hinting that she'll keep all ang baos for the tables that is given to her.
Is this a norm nowadays?
How many tables are reasonable?
Thanks in advance.

Hmm i'm not too clear about the customs myself.. so we just do according to what the mothers/MILs want. =p
As for mum keeping the angbaos for the tables, it's something u decide between urself and ur mom/in-laws. things such as who pays for the banquet, who gets how many tables, who keeps the angbaos and how many.. it's flexible..
