Went down on sun and was told that the showroom will be ready by mid October.
Anyone is waiting for this?
My hubby is quite keen as it is very near his parents' place...
They gave us a website to have a look at the floor plan...

it's a good investment, how big is one 4 room unit? near to the jurong CBD, i think the value will rise quite fast once its built

from the website, it stated 980 sqft.
oh ya, anyone have any idea that for the downpayment, it is have to be in cash?
Cos that time we went to see the Yishun Adora and they mentioned downpayment $10k in cash.

not sure about downpayment, different dbss have different down payment. but shouldnt differ too much from Yishun Adora. (since it's not resale flat) should check with your agent about lake vista downpayment.. but you'll have to really consider whether you want to start paying such a high amt for the rest of your life leh..

now still considering.
have to wait till the showroom ready then go down and check on the exact price and downpayment...
and then work out the sums... if too higher, we wait for other bto then...
10k for downpayment is quite alot, although after that they will reimburse back if our cpf have enough funds...
but our banquet is just half a year time, everything needs $ so really have to plan well...

cash is impt, if can dont use so much cash for house then of course that is the better option. but since dbss also need to wait a few years, the time factor is not an advantage.. you can try for those sale of balance flats in jurong? otherwise now till then still have to stay with parents.

we not in a hurry to get a house for the moment cos i'm fine staying with my in-laws after our customary...
yup yup. cash is important especially when we going to have kids in future etc...

My hubby who is quite keen on this, went to the showroom and was disappointed with it. mentioned that not worth the price. He rather go for BTO and renovate it. Much more nicer...
