hi, i gate crashed at a friend's wedding once with another friend whom (he) pretended to be a "girlfriend" of a close friend that has confirmed to go... i was lucky to have a spare sit next to them.
no matter what, i believe we need to be prepared for gate crashers
I think... I will leave the gate-crash thingy to my jiemei's. I would just set the rules to them that no ugly things are allowed, no funny food, no messy things that's gonna stain each and everyone's outfit.
After he gave the angpow to my jiemeis, they let the groom in, before i allow him to open the door come into my room, i will make him sign a blank cheque (or maybe S$8,888/=), payable to me. After married, when I feel like wanting to use the money, then..heeeheehee *rub-hands* Wuahahahas! *Oops!*
Oh well... for this, i will try to steal a piece of cheque from his cheque book before the wedding.

Is like probably I feel why should I let my friends bully my htb when I don't do that. And to dress them up in silly attire is not my kind of thing. Just want things simple. :)
no. i will not because i want our wedding to be special, intimate and solemn. :)
i did not have that because i did not want to ruin the solemnity of the ceremony.
my husband and i planned one but we did not continue with it because the person assigned to gate crash got sick on our wedding day. :/

Personally, I won't have gate crashing on the AD. I've seen some really embarrassing photos of grooms from other weddings and I think the groom and his entourage should really project a smart, masculine and gentlemanly image on the day. Also, it can be a terrible thing if the groom and the boys have upset tummies from eating of of the really mixed concoctions.
we didn't have one since we both agreed that we want our wedding to be intimate and really solemn. :)
