I tried once, and I got it.
I was expecting better Q no., but gotta 1/4...
I try for 7 years, lost count on the number of tries for BTOs but in the end I managed to save enough money for an EC
tried for the 1st time and gotten one at punggol.

Paid $60-70 to HDB before we finally got our unit... and we weren't fussy at all.
IN fact we were prepared to get a low floor during our 5 or 6th try but when it came to our appointment date, the quota for race became zero.
Finally we got it on the 7th ballot!
I think nowadays the system has changed and more people are able to get it at 1st or 2nd ballot.
Gotten it at my first try. An OK queue number too :)

Still haven't gotten a number yet.
Tried Tampines SBF once and got no number, and the recent Punggol BTO where we got 900++ out of the 380 units available.
Am now looking into resale because I don't want to have children before having my own place and omg I don't want to wait 4yrs for a flat. Sigh...
