My husband and I ensures that we get some time together despite of busy schedules and our son. I've read an article which talks about the importance of date nights. I read about it and took the advice. I think this might help you too.

Try out new experiences together. Remember when you were still falling in love, it's like you're discovering a wonderful new world. It's a bit like that, only now you and him are together and you'll be discovering new places, honing new skills, finding out things about yourselves.

Focus on your OWN marriage, not on other's. Always make time for your spouse, no matter how busy you are at work or with the kids. It's hard I know, and it takes effort to make that happen. But you need to be there for your spouse's needs too, whether it be emotional or physical need.
