How long before wedding to give our invitations?
I'm thinking between 2-3 months, because i'm afraid if i give 1 month before people think it's shotgun (LOL) but then will 2-3 months be too far away from the date then people forget?

haha! I guess no harm sending out invitation early. They also have some time to rsvp before you send out the invitation cards. Can always follow up with them by giving them a gentle reminder thru phone sms or email few days or a week before AD.

Maybe u can send a SMS to inform them first, when the date is near then u send out the invitation.

I realise for older generation if you inform them early they wouldn't "save the date" so have to inform them only one month in advance cause they say they will forget if you tell them too early....

we gave ours a month before, since they might forget the date and the wedding itself. hehe.

we gave ours a month before the wedding day so that they have enough time to prepare.

About 2-3 months is ideal so that they can RSVP.

you should probably give it to your guests months before your wedding day.
