How many times did you apply for BTO before getting it?

Hi ladies, as per title, how many times did you have to apply for your BTO before getting it? Let's share here, I applied once but no success yet, guess I have to open my minds to other location options..

i actually got a super duper good number on my 2nd try, but forfeited it. I had heard that it's very difficult to get a number, so i tried every single BTO that came out. When i received a good number, i was so torn between buying or not buying.. coz the location is too far away and i didn't like it. in the end i gave up. and that happened TWICE. all the BTOs i bid for near my place, i couldn't get. Then 2 of those far far away ones, i got super good number. haiz. should not have been so kan chiong, should have just been selective. being desperate and panicky is no good.

I gave up after 7 tries over 2 years and I settled for resale.

V lucky managed to get it during our first try. Wasn't the perfect location but could live with it la.

I have tried 1 time and couldnt get it. Already ROM but no house so decided to look at resale. Any advice?

So there is nothing we can do but to pray that we get a very good number for the BTO?? OMG, this is so scary...

Speedz, are you looking for a specific location? If you are not, i think can still give BTO another shot as next month got more than 4 I think.

I am still deciding between BTO , resale flats or ECs.. but may be settling for resale flat, after seeing so many applicants balloting for the BTO project every month..

am trying for btos currently... no luck for 2 times already and waiting for the next bto launch... i must say this process is exciting and yet frustrating at the same time... i hope i will be lucky on my 3rd try...

We finally got WW2 after 5 tries.. at least our number is within the flat supply.. heehee..

u r very lucky already... know how many couples who can't get even after trying many times... at least u have a gd no. i.e. a confirmed unit.. u just have to be patient and wait ya.. =)

mine is dawson bto1 year has passed and still not much progress..sigh...structure not there..but price is exp..2015 is indeed a long wait and renting a flat is not cheap..

i think we're really lucky to got it on our 1st try with a quite good number 99.. got the block & exact unit we wanted! and it was just few street away from parent home.. very lucky!
