what kind of dresses you want to make? gowns? evening gowns? cheongsam? it generally costs ~0.5-2k more, depending on how much you want to spend on that dress. some people who do MTM gowns only have 1 gown instead of an evening gown too, so they save on that and the budget doesn't increase. others splurge and spend ~4-10k on a single gown. There are some places with gowns that are even nicer than custom made dresses.. just go around and search more.. someone must have thought of your dream design and made it into a gown ler

is that too much do you think?

hope to hear your opinion on this matter.
    thanks!
that's not rare. it really boils down to the discussion between the 2 families. and how much you can afford. usually rich families give more, while less well-to-do families do away with this and go with a bigger pin jin instead

I think it depends on what type of wedding you are going to have.. Every wedding has a different number of expenses.
