Hi Michylicious,

We faced a bottleneck in a discussion with our wedding coordinator, Jarls Lee. Just one day after our rather edgy discussion, she informed that there is another couple waiting to confirm the coming weekend, and that is only 1 working day away (not taking in consideration the day she informed us). This is way too much of a coincidence that we couldn't help thinking it was an unethnical sales tactic coercing us to confirm as we have booked the venue tentatively. However, there is no way that we could confirm, so we had to give her the benefit of doubt.

Finally, we decided to give up the venue although it was our first choice. My HTB and I both agreed that it would not be worthy should we have qualms and uncomfort about the whole matter.

Nevertheless, we still wish you and your HTB a wonderful wedding experience & blissful marriage.
Would greatly appreciate if you could share your experience of your AD here after you've been through it.

Fixed our date on 20.12.2014, but many banquet venues (now including Intercontinental) are taken on this date already, so there is possibility of considering other dates instead. This date is so popular *still wondering why*

Heard that 6th Sep 2014 is just as popular as well. Gosh.. hope our "2nd search" will be more smooth-sailing. *cross fingers*

WOW! You book more than 1 yr ahead but still many banquet venues is no longer avail? WOW! 20.12.2014, should be a super duper auspicious date!

I have no experience with this banquet venues.But I learn much about its best quality and good taste food.Arrangement is also very impressing for the comer.I want to know that is this offer eastern food?Any one knows about it?

Seems like there's not much review for Intercon. I am waiting to meet up with the wedding coordinator, but as my htb and myself do not reside in Singapore, we are quite unsure of what to ask for as we have not attended any weddings here for recent years. Any advice? How much do we have to pay for deposit?
This is getting more complicated than we thought!!
