lunch is generally cheaper, dinner often have minimum table requirements. you need how many tables and have how many guest?

But I feel having a dinner on a weekend really makes a difference

I do understand about the minimum table requirements but this is the best option which I can suggest.

haha, then have to be prepared to pay more. actually lunch or dinner on friday / sat makes no difference, but lunch / dinner on sunday makes a lot of difference as many people dont want to stay too late on a sunday because of work the next day.

I prefer having it during dinner because it has an intimate and cozy feel to it. And more time to spend with the guests.

I prefer wedding lunch cause most of our guests are quite busy and cannot stay longer for the night.

i'd prefer a lunch so that you can already rest in the evening and have your first night all to yourselves. doing a dinner can be tiring than a lunch

I think the pricing really depends on what kind of food you're planning to have so I think I would rather have a dinner because in the morning you'll be really busy with the preparations and tea ceremony and everything and I think having a break before the night banquet will be good
