My sister is getting married. What are the preparations needed?

My sister is getting married in a few months. We’re all excited, including our relatives working in a foreign country. They say they’ll be home for this very special event. Here’s my concern, my sister wants me to prepare for her wedding. She said she’s very confident with my ability to be an organizer, and it would be much special if I prepare for it other than looking for somebody else. Now, what are the preparations needed? Should I start with the wedding theme? If so, please give me some suggestions. Thanks!

If you don't want to deal with the hassle then go for a wedding planner! You won't regret for sure!

Search online for checklists and customized it to your own, make sure to test and try everything before the actual day! Give some extra time for contingency plans.

Having a wedding planner is really helpful and can ease your stress. But I advice you to build a checklist for the things you need and the people you will invite.

I would suggest you to go for a wedding planner and participate in suggestions etc. which your sister will love to have in her wedding. If you want to organize it whole heatedly yourself then it would end up in stress and you will not be able to enjoy the wedding. It’s a personal experience. Best of luck for a successful event and Congratulations.

I can highly recommend Hitchplanner. It's very easy to use (even for someone with almost no PC skills like me and my wife ). There is a collaboration function so that you can plan with your sister. And you can send your overseas relatives some e-invites, that saved us a lot of money! ;)

You should hire a wedding planner, he can help you to organize all things in a better way. And if you want to make your ceremony more entertaining than you should hire a wedding DJ as he will make your ceremony enjoyable & memorable.
