    Nursery Room Ideas

Hi everyone! My sister is due to give birth next month and we are planning to have a nursery room for the baby.

we are wondering what colors would suit best. is it ideal to design the nursery room with flashy color or we will just stick to white, black and red?? Do we need to have glow in the dark decorations in the room?? PLEASE HELP US

what is the gender of the baby? If it's a boy stick to color blue and if it's a girl use pink as the dominant color for the nursery room
Only use white, black, and red as accent colors.

Glow in the dark decorations such as ceiling star stickers is a great choice so that the baby can stare at them once he or she is capable of doing so.

Just to add on to your idea. How about cartoon or characters wall sticker or decals as well? Looks really beautiful with some cartoon characters on it. You can see some nice preview at this Pinterest link http://pinterest.com/livingwithartsg...murals-decals/

Unlike mural paintings, wall stickers are cheaper and can be easily replaced. Buying a wall sticker would be a wise and economically friendly decision since you don't have to hire an expert to place the stickers on the wall. Other than this, if you are no longer contented with the design you can easily replace it with a new one.

There are various wall sticker designs that you'll surely love.

find out the gender of the baby first. if it's a boy, stick with baby blue. if it's a girl go for a baby pink. and wall stickers would be better than murals. because if the baby is already grown-up he/she can still use the same room and just remove the stickers if he/she wants to.

I think it's good to paint the walls with baby blue color. It looks relaxing and it fits whatever gender the baby will be.

earth color are good. light shades of green and blue will also do, so that the room will give a refreshing look.

I think the lighting should be kept in a low intensity so that the atmosphere of the place would be relaxing.
