could any brides who skipped the gatecrash advise me? Personally I'm not interested in gatecrash as i don't believe in it, but my sisters feel that it could be kinda odd (quiet) if my groom was to just knock on the door and come in to pick me up. Now I'm unsure. How did you guys plan yours if you skipped gatecrash?
secondly, I could be having about 4-5 sisters but my groom might only have 2-3 brothers, will that be odd?

we basically skipped gatecrashing since my husband and i agreed on not doing it anymore. we just did the usual thing wherein he just picked me up. it was not really that odd actually.

i think it's alright to not have a gatecrashing game during your wedding. it's really up to you anyway.

I guess it's okay if that's what both of you wants. You can just replace it with other activities.
