    Recommendation for wedding cake?

    Hi everyone,
Do u have any recommendations for wedding cake? And usually how much would a wedding cake (enough for 150pax) cost?

hi faitheee, i am not sure how many kg it should be, but there is a good cake shop that does wedding cakes called Caffe Pralet.. You can try calling up to enquire and even visit their cakeshop, very lovely cakes there!

You can learn how to decorate your own cake with sugar flowers! They're lovely. There are courses available at BIY.

I'm not sure how many kg it should be, but I think when you place an order, they will give you suggestions on how big the cake should be. I guess they'll knw better. (: Hope this helps, good luck with ur planning!

Hi, I do celebration and wedding cakes as a hobby. How big a cake you need depends on how large a serving you want to provide your guests with, and if you already have dessert included in your reception/lunch/dinner. Here is a brief guide though, based on a 1 inch by 2inch piece of cake per serving.

You need at least three tiers:
    - 1x 12" round cake, 2x 10" round cake (one can be a kitchen cake), 1x 8inch round cake, that will give you approx 152 serves.

Other serving guides can be found here: http://www.wilton.com/cakes/cake-cut...ting-guide.cfm
