Review Needed - Riverview Hotel and Furama City Hotel

    Hi All,
Anyone has any experience with the above hotels? I'm planning to sign my wedding banquet with either one of them. So i'm looking for reviews on their pre-service, actual day service, food, ballroom and any other items that you can share.. Thanks!

I'm not so sure about furama city. But my banquet is at Furama Riverfront for next year... The perks are quite good.

oh... my hubby was the one who found out about their package and was keen in their perks.
My colleague also had her banquet over there few years ago and she also recommend it...

the perks can be find from their website.. but then we signed it early this year thus the perks slightly different from now.

1 of the perks is free flow of beer and wine throughout the reception cocktail till end of banquet dinner.

but now the banquet seems to have increased their prices and also there is no more free flow of wine anymore... is 1 per table.

I just went for my food tasting last week.
The food was good, even the elders who went with us are impressed by the food too.
We took braised seafood soup instead of shark fin.
The elders are happy with the soup too cos not much difference to shark fin. =)

I have signed my wedding dinner package with them. My wedding is in Nov so i can't comment much about the actual day stuff. I would say that my experience with the coordinator Eileen was really good. She is very professional and patient. The price per table is pretty cheap less than $1000 for hotel price.. They have freeflow of beers. If i hit 28 tables there will be freeflow of wine. The food reviews was not too bad. The negative thing is the ballroom is really small. The hotel is old and inconvenient but the bridal suites is very beautiful. I like the view of the river and i will be doing my ROM at the cafe at level 1.. Hope it helps..

    Cheers.
