signed up with them and didn't regret it. i went with them because i saw that they go with simple but elegant designs and that's what i like for my gown. the photoshoot was also good and it actually has a very light atmosphere.

Posting for my best friend. She's definitely the poor "Victim".

Very disappointed with their service. Make up artist (joann zhao - http://www.simplyjoann.com.sg/) pulled out 2 NIGHTS before e actual wedding and left the poor bride stranded, feeling desperate and frustrated, without replacing her with another M/U artist.

Luckily the bride managed to find one just a few hours before her wedding. Spoke to the staff of this bridal shop, hoping to get more refund as the poor bride had to fork out another $650(on top of what she'd paid for the bridal package which was supposed to have the make up service included).

Really disappointed with the service n the way this bridal boutique had handled this situation. the staff who handled this case was least apologetic, and used a very sarcastic manner saying that she'll "fork out the money from her own pocket" if the bride insist on getting the refund.

Im not here to smear their name but I hope that they have more pride in their branding and is able to handle such situation when problems arise as a 1-stop wedding professional.

    Dear Rihei,

Let us start with our own regret that you have to harbor such anger. Thank you for your feedback but we would like to clarify a few points that were mentioned in your comment.

Let us start with the series of events pertaining to your case.

Your accusation of Joann pulling out 2 nights before the actual day wedding and we did not replace you with another MUA:

Joann did not pull out 2 nights before the AD; instead she requested to push back the make up session by 30 minutes. Your AD happens to be an auspicious date and we have many couples getting married on that day. We understand that you were really unhappy because of this change of arrangements and so we proposed to replace you with another MUA but you rejected this offer flatly.

Let us take you back to the whole process of our services rendered to your AD wedding package. The relations between you and the coordinator were all along friendly and in good terms. As you did not like the lace of the Off the Rack fuchsia pink evening gown that you choose, our coordinator went the extra mile and painstakingly removed the lace and replaced it with Swaroski crystals even though it is not a MTM gown. It was a value added service provided to you with no extra charges and we had to change the original design by our designer to fit your preference. In addition, our coordinator also gave you crystals when you commented that you wanted to add crystals to your eye make up and you did not have the time to go buy it. It is regretful that at the very last stage there is a little hiccup over the timing causing such displeasure from your side.

In your comment above you stated that you are not here to smear our name. However your intentions seems clear when you did not give a full picture of the whole situation and even added in false accusations against our boutique. You have now made your issue public, and our reputation had been put on the line. As a business, and as people, we are not blameless; where we have faltered, we will do double to make it up to our client.

Nonetheless, we would still like to apologize to you again over this unfortunate event.

We sincerely hope that this matter rests here.

    Regards,

    The Management
    Rico A Mona Bridal

To Management of Rico A Mona Bridal,

It is nice to see you reply as my 1st post on your Facebook fan page was being deleted without any updates from you.

The bride requested for the MUA to reach her place at 5am. This is a very reasonable and pretty standard timing for brides in order not to miss the auspicious timing. I cannot be convinced how can the MUA make such a request to push back the session by 30mins AND why prior to signing up the package, such IMPT message were not convey to the bride especially you have mentioned the date is an auspicious date with many couples getting married? If you cannot cope with too many brides signing up with you, you should have not sign up so much deals.

From what i know for early call )e.g.: before 6.30am), bride will be required to pay a surcharge (e.g.: $30) + top up of cab fare for requests. Why would the bride want to fork up $650 more to enage another MUA if you have offered a replacement? btw, do you mean the replacement MUA is willing to commit reaching 5am, while Joann can't?

I have to agree that between the bride and your coordintor, the relationships had been very friendly and approachable. To be honest, because of this, your shop is one of the shop I have in mind to visit for my wedding, of coz not forgetting the fact on the extra value added services you have given to my friend which impressed me. But, seeing how Rico A Mona handles such conflicts really makes me have 2nd thoughts.

Instead of solving the problems, your staff is giving attitude to the bride and now you are here in the forum not solving the problems but still being defensive and more concern in protecting your name saying I smear your name and trying to end this case abruptly (by looking at the last sentence of your reply) instead of offering solutions.

I will end the case here. If you are really sincere in solving the problems, your management should approach the bride (since you know who i am talking about) to solve this in a more professional way.

Signed up with them and i can say that their service is good so far. i keep changing my mind on the evening gowns, though. so i end up having 2 rounds of selecting and they were okay with it. will be having my photoshoot soon too. pretty excited about it.

my sister learned her lesson when dealing with rico-a-mona. she was quite lazy scouting for bridal studios so she signed up with them. she thought they have good service and high quality products because they have expensive fees. she said she was not satisfied with the customer service. the gowns were not to her liking so she had a hard time looking for the right gown. so my advice is to scout and scout until you find the right one.
