ROM at downtown east

Hi ladies,

Have anyone done or attended ROM buffet lunch at downtown east's function room?

It's got quite a nice place, really accessible but unsure about the food and service.

Any comments/advice will be grateful?

it's very basic, the stuff they provide.

for wedding, best to get your own decor unless you can buy those petals and things to decorate yourself. food wise i believe you can get your own caterer, if im not wrong, they allow

the last time i was in touch with the sales manager, he was unfortunately unprofessional and not helpful at all. I asked about outside caterer and he said "no outside caterer allowed" (and he only sent me the buffet menu of 1 caterer), and then when I went for site visit, I realised other functions had other caterers. Only when I asked again then he said they allowed 2 other caterers.

But the menu options were really basic food and I thought quite off for weddings, although I quite like the place.
