You can replace them with an alternative if you're not comfortable serving it.

My husband and I agreed not to serve it. We're planning on serving crab meat soup as an alternative.

now most places either take shark fin out of the menu or they will have some non-shark fin alternatives bah

i think you should just go with other seafood soups since you might have a problem looking for a hotel or a venue that serves a shark's fin soup. :/

we plan on not serving the shark's fin soup. we will just look for another alternative..

We won;t be serving that too. We're currently looking for other alternatives. Maybe mushroom or crab and corn soup.

We have also checked with the hotel and thankfully no sharks fin on the menu unless you specifically want it. Nowadays some other hotels serve some other kinds of soup or even double boiled soup with birds nest inside.

Not going to serve shark's fin soup for the banquet... we are going for the crab and corn soup alternative.
