How many gowns do we need to prepare for the dinner? any "standard"?

there is no standard for this la. most people will have only one evening gown la.
First much in will be your morning white gown and the second one will be evening gown.
if you want then you can have one more when you sending your guest off lor (that is if you have the time to change).
some will only have one much in with their evening gown and thats all so all depends on you.

depends on your budget.. i have seen brides before coming out with 3 gowns.. it's very tiring though. keep changing gowns.

there are a few possibilities:
1 gown - throughout dinner. usually a designer white gown, so only have one. ( plus point - more time to spend with the guests)
2 gowns - the most common, one white one and 2nd march in with an evening gown.
3 gowns - 3rd one usually is a send off gown. some couples do performances, such as dances, so that's an extra in between the 1st and 2nd evening gown (usually dances have short gowns, or more flowy for easy movements)..

I have 2, but they're both white. One is lace and the other is beaded. Not doing an evening gown.
