    Should i buy condo or hdb?

    first time buying here. should i buy private or public property? i saw some older condos which are only about 100k higher than resale hdb. any advice?

    if you can pay 2k+ a month in repayment, then go for condo. but for new couples hdb is always bettr because of the many hdb grants. HTH!

    up to you. condo good for investment. get those suburban condos sure rise in value.

    condo is good.. can sell and earn.. HDB is cheaper, depends on budget

    remember that if you buy condo, you cannot buy hdb again. i would say hdb is a better choice for prudence. at least you can upgrade in the future if you want to.

    Buy EC haha then can solve the problem.

    10 years later can convert to Condo.

    whichever the housing choice, plan your finances in advance and work out the sums before deciding to park the money at where

    imagine in the future, if having problm keeping up with the housing instalment payment and falling into arrears...who to suffer, it's you and your future partner...

    if u dont make 12k monthly combined income, i would recommend HDB

    it may seem reasonable monthly repayment without car n kids yet,but when additional expenses come in, it will be very tight
