Maybe you can try a hotel room or a function room? Preferably somewhere with space big enough for the gifts you'll receive! Most people will do it at home so that they won't have to bring all the gifts home if not it might get troublesome!!

a hotel room is a good venue especially if it's only a small bridal shower
