ROM Solemnization Venue

Dear all,

am deciding on the venue for my ROM Solemnization.

1. The Jewel at Mount Faber
2. Fort Canning Walk
3. GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL
4. Changi Village

Budget : 3k
Please share your experience.

* By the way, can anyone tell me how many of your relatives are actually invited for the ROM? Do we have to invite our entire family members eg.cousins, grandma's sister/brothers for ROM?

i would choose the jewel or fort canning. it's more special, i prefer intimate weddings. the latter allows you to have a larger group of guests though. for inviting, if it's a family norm, then YES, especially if you see them during chinese new year, you should. but also it's up to your preferences. just be careful that tongues may wag on cny if you dont invite them. :)

Hi Melo...

the problem is i dun even see some of my relatives during cny.. most of my cousins work overseas.. as for my grandma's sis.. i have never even seen them before. If everyone is to be invited, there will be more than 100 guests.. And i am wondering issit alot for ROM.

Initially i thought its ok not to invite them (cousins and not so close relatives) for my ROM.. as long as my aunties and uncles are present.

And, anyway they will be invited to my Chinese Wedding Dinner the following year..

For seaview wedding, visit Rasa Sentosa.
With a budget for only $3k, the choices of venue is really limited

My friend had hers at Tung Lok at Clarke Quay (Central). You can see the Singapore River and Clarke Quay view.There is soleminization packages. She only booked 2-3 tables. For her immediate close family and closest pals. ROM needs not have everyone there. This should be able to fit your budget

After discussion with my bf.

We had decided to have our solemnization at Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa.

Renting of Venue - $2,288nett.
Reception Tea- time 35pax - $2,457
Total $4745.

Is that too expensive?
anyone know of any roadshow coming so i can get a better deal? :)

Hi blissed,

I was there for site visit last week. I did ask about coming roadshow. Co-ordinator mention coming June but not confirm yet.

i emailed and ask for coming road show just few days ago...

the wedding co-coordinator told me there is NO coming roadshow coming up.. :X
