can anyone share roughly how long they took from the time of the wedding proposal to solemnization?

Spend about a year after proposal.. It's best to plan ahead and have sufficient time to know what you really want.. It's once on a lifetime thing so you must really decide on what you want.. Haha

plan a year ahead for your wedding. it's better to have plenty of time.
