I'm Mar 14. Looking around for banquet venue nxt month, start researching now at forums. haaa..

cuttiz, you can start booking for March 2014 already.. you can follow 2013's rates if you confirm early..

Beany1978, nope. usually if you book for first quarter 2014, will follow 2013's rates. But from 2nd quarter 2014 onwards, then it will be a different pricing.. about 50-100 mark up from 2013's rates..

So 2014 1st quarter price will be based on 2013? I'm planning for feb but haven book yet. Do u all go down to the hotel and see their ballroom before deciding on the venue?

Depends. Some allowed to follow 2013 pricing till 31 March 2014, some follow 2013 prices as long as 2014 price is not out. Some hotels will add on like 50-80++ on top of 2013 prices for 2014 as of what i know now.

I've decided to hv my wedding in 3rd or 4th quarter of 2014. Waiting for my parents to suggest a few auspicious dates for 2014 to start planning:)
