si dian jin from neighbourhood shops???

hi any idea if those pure gold si dian jin in terms of gold content will it b inferior to established shops like Poh Heng and Tian bo?? coz i scare we cant tell it the gold is really pure gold n they cheated us though such shops have been ard for more than 20 yrs.

my MIL recently bought for me at chinatown, people's park center level 2. we went to Poh Heng and see but my FIL keeps saying it's very expensive cos they charge for the handicraft. so we went to a shop he always buys from and they only charge based on gold prices. so my si dian jin only cost about $2800. but it's 22k gold except for earrings which is 24k.
think the gold content can't be cheated so no worries... as long as it's not gold plated..

Tks for the info. I got from Poh heng in d end for my 999 sdj as my frens told me that Poh heng gold every pc will be checked by gov agency. The staff told us that there will be a logo on every pcs to indicate checked by spore gov agency. We bargain wif them on the workmanship n is v cheap like 20bucks for my elaborate design..

Range bet 20 to I think 60bucks per pc of sdj for workmanship

I think PH is still the best in the business when it comes to SDJ. SK also has some very nice designs.
