any brides been to silhouette for your gowns? care to share your experiences?

hey honeydew, my friend who just got married went with silhouette, they are one of the more pricy boutiques around. Gown rental itself is already $3k+, but they are famous for their tules and beading. For photography, they tie up with other photographers like lightedpixels, which obviously will end up with a big price tag for an entire package. HTH

I recently received a mail saying that Chris Ling studio package with STA is only $4800! I'm not sure what are the limitations to that, if there are different tiers of gowns.. but this is in my opinion quite a good price! any of you have gone down to silhouette to check out the specific packages?

hi rojak, that's a pretty good price for their package from what i have seen. most likely it'll be limited to a number of shots, but this promo is quite a catch from an eye's glance.

i got my dream dress from silhouette, love it because it's not so over-the-top like many others, the elegance is just nice and fits me great. hope this review helps you honeydew!

hi rojak, nice info, will call down to check hehe. i heard that we only can choose 3 gowns to try on though, hope it's enough for me because it's kind of hard to choose the type of gown that i like, especially when i never try on any gown before and it's my first time.

my friend got her gown from STA and I thought it was beautiful. The consultants there are also nice and pretty accommodating. I'll be having my wedding end of the year and am also thinking of going back there to take a look at the gowns. However, I do think they are more on the high end.

Hi all, their gowns are lovely and have good workmanship. However, I did not pick them in the end as I wasn't comfortable with their service - Don't have the special feeling of being a bride when I was in the shop. More like just a number to them and they wanted me to quickly decide.
