Solemnisation Venues
hi ladies, which solemnisation venues are you considering for your wedding? The common ones are church, hotel, restaurant. Nowadays people are trying to save cost, so i've been seeing more combined solemnisation and banquet. Are there any venue suggestions that would be good for solemnisation?

i suddenly thought of the Singapore Flyer when i saw your thread hahaha. it's one of the more unique locations. their package includes:
Exclusive use of a romantically-decorated capsule that can cater up to 26 guests (for 2 rotations of approximately 1 hour) with Express boarding
Exclusive use of a Luxury Cruise Yacht for you, your loved one and your guests (Max 11 pax per yacht)^
One night's accomodation at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
Two-way Premium Limousine transfer to and from the Singapore Flyer
A Singapore Flyer wedding commemorative certificate
Two Singapore Flyer hosts
An anniversary voucher redeemable for Singapore flight for 2 persons on your first wedding anniversary
A Singapore Flyer wedding gift (favour) for each guest
A bottle of champagne
Specially-designed invitation cards (up to a maximum of 26 cards)
Canapés & pastries
2 Car parking lots
not bad i would say. but 1 capsule can only hold 26 people, that's the deal-breaker. otherwise i think it would be very romantic.

Xiaoyan,
The package itself cost $4999. I find the price to be steep for a Solemnisation.
The info can be found at http://www.singaporeflyer.com/en/eve...n-package.html

hi:
we signed at Crowne Plaza for our Solemnization this coming April. we checked around hotel packages and all, and we find that crowne's offer is reasonable and within our budget. the package is 2K+++ for guaranteed guests of 30. We will be having the solemnization in the poolside and the dinner in one of their function rooms.

Hi
I will be having my soleminization together with my actual day banquet.
It saves me time, money & energy too.

Hi astutekitty, I agree with you
Having them together takes away all the trouble of having to move from different place. It is also cheaper and makes it easier for the busy relatives and friends.

Other choice of Solemnization venue at Goodwood Park Hotel would be by the poolside. There is choice of 2 pools.
