hey lycia, goodwood park food was pretty acceptable. just that they tend to refill drinks quite slowly, maybe you can remind the manager about it before the dinner. but otherwise it was good. by when do you have to confirm with them?

hi drygin, Royal Plaza on Scotts has a gorgeous round staircase at the entrance that looks like a dream fairytale castle haha. i loved that staircase. went there for a wedding dinner at the balmoral hall, food, service and everything was great.

Hihi - my ROM date is on 8911 and am planning to do a small scale luncheon at chinese restaurant with nice function rooms. Looking at few options like Peony Jade, Noble House (Tung Lok) and Grand Shanghai (Grand Copthorne Waterfront). Do you all have any other good recommendation for chinese restaurants? budget less than $2K.

Hi, I'm planning for a small scale rom too. Just for 12pax including the two of us. looking for nice restaurant with private function room (for solemnization and maybe meal after) and with nice place to take group photo.

First call was to MBS but restaurant with private room with nice view quoted $8k min spending for max 20pax!! :0 now considering maybe GWP. From responses above, seems like Royal Plaza on Scotts also not bad. Any other recommendations?
