Sourcing for a rom venue

I am looking for a venue for my rom which is roughly 3mths from now. Estimated no. of guest is 30+.. As i will be having my customary wedding on Jan 2015, i have a tight budget of $1k(venue equipped with rom table and chairs + food, likely to be buffet).
Any recommendation? Indoor or outdoor also can.. I also intend to diy some deco for the venue which will incur additional charges. Thanks.
