Suggestion to all brides: Consider backup plans for wedding
hi brides, understand that you all are concerned about your wedding and want it to be the best day of your life.
as a bride who has gone through the process, one thing i strongly suggest is for all brides to consider getting backup services. Eg. things like photographer, videography, make up artist. There are a lot of case scenarios of real brides who did not have a good wedding because their pg/vg/mua (who are mostly freelancers) MIA during the wedding and uncontactable.
i learnt from a wedding planner friend who got 2 pg,vg, mua for her wedding. reason she say is that no matter how professional they are, sometimes last min things cause the mia and is unpredictable. that little bit of extra cost is nothing compared to having the piece of mind of a smooth wedding.
if you cannot afford the price for 2 professional vg/pg/mua, you can consider a less pro person as the backup. at least you will still be able to go on with your wedding and not have bad memories your entire life.
i hope my post brings some thoughts about back up planning to brides here, as i notice that even among my friends, backup planning is not something they realize that they have to do. all the best!

I agree, I even have a backup wedding dress if anything goes wrong. Just a simple one to not waste too much money.

Yeah I think backups are super important! But be careful not to exceed your budget. I think photography is quite important and having a back up that is not very professional will also be fine. Even your friends will be good too so that you have nice photos to look back on your special day

Yes, I agree. Don't know what mishap would happen in the planning. It's better to be ready.

I wholeheartedly agree. You don't know what could go wrong.

Agreed, always check with the photographers/videographer/caterer/emcees/mua etc on what to do. And if you have any of them that is on the ball, then you are in good hands. Pay a little more, its your big day.
