Tips to choosing bridal boutique

Hi ladies, it's been a tiring week for me, i have been going to quite a few bridal boutiques but i'm quite confused as to how to choose the boutique for my wedding. I don't want to choose fast and be stuck with one which I will not like or have problems with. Any brides who have gone through the process, can share with us new brides on how to choose a bridal boutique? Thanks!

gambatte huien! yea, the wedding planning process is an extremely tiring one. One tip for wedding photo album i can share is this: Make a mental note of what type of wedding photo album you want. There are two different types mainly: one with the white line in the middle, and one without the white line. Usually the one without the white line (seamless) is more expensive, but it looks way more beautiful as the pictures look spread out and no flaw. Of course, some people say that your wedding album will be put in your storeroom after your wedding. But think about it, it will probably be your only professional photoshoot, so might as well do it right and do it beautiful right?

to add, look around different bridal shops and look at their selection of bridal and evening gowns. Some have small selections, some have large. You will have more choices with a larger selection, which is always good for us girls. :)

Be firm in rejecting. I think alot of us face this: Pushy sales people. If possible, get your SO to go with you. Chances are that if you go yourself, you may be tempted to get the package and give in. I feel that generally females are very prone to impulse purchase, myself included. I once put down a deposit for a pre-wedding photography when my SO was not there with me, after that i felt so regretful, that money could have been better spent. Although it is a few hundred only, it is still money.

Going with SO helps you to be more firm, guys are mostly very logical in their thinking and will help you to pull away from the salespersons when either of you are not comfortable with the package or the boutique. You also need to consult your SO about it anyways, since he will be your hubby to be. All the best in your boutique search dears!

for me, it was to set a budget for how much SO and i are willing to spend on the wedding package. when you are there, you will feel tempted to get alot of things, especially for us girls when we see a beautiful dress or dresses and want to wear more designs during our wedding. so, it's good to budget with your hubby to be before you go down, so that you guys already know how much money you should stick to. :)

These are the things I look for when choosing a bridal shop:

- reasonable price
- different packages
- excellent customer service
- wide array of gowns and dresses
- expert photographers and MUAs

I agree with sweettips. I guess that's just what you need to check if you're looking for a bridal boutique.

it is very vital to conduct research and read a lot of bridal studio reviews. this is a way on order to determine which bridal shops provide excellent service.

for me, it was:

1) budget budget budget!!
2) selection of gowns -whether there are any limitations / extra charges for "premium" gowns etc
3) the photography style (basic e.g. whether we like the kind of photos shown)
4) services - how comfortable we are with them, e.g. not pushy, etc...
5) not forgetting the reviews from others - if there's any very jialat bad review abt the bridal studio, then i would stay away from that... better be safe than sorry
