Wedding Banquets Payment

Hi, my partner and myself have been pondering upon the steps to payment of a dinner banquet. Any idea? As well as usually how do you pay off the total bill?

Normally when you book the restaurant or hotel they will calculate the propose number of table and give you a estimate price. They will normally ask for a 20-30% payment. Balance will be settle after your dinner. Or the next when you check out the hotel. This is what I got as I'm planning for my wedding too.

i think you can pay them with the first half of the total amount first then pay the other half after or during the event itself.
