Wedding in Feb 2014- need suggestions & venues!

Hi..I'm currently planning my wedding in feb 2014... Went to a few hotels for quotes and all..but can't decide..anyone has some advice for me? Grand corpthorne was my first choice but the min req too many! I should have about 32 tables tentatively..so thereabouts..anyone can share? And I want somewhere with good food & moderate(not too low like Pan pac) ceiling too..

Maybe you can list the hotels that you have shortlisted so that we could make a few suggestions?

Oh..Hee sorry...actually was thinking of Grand Corpthorne waterfront but couldn't hit their Min requirement for the grand ballroom and exceeded their smaller ballroom...my tentative tables are 35...so now I'm thinking of either carlton(but their max is 33..)..but now I just realised Concorde could be a choice too..just wondering anywhere else where food is reasonably good and high ceiling..? U

Hmm.. in my opinion, Concorde and Fairmont. You can consider them.

I've attended weddings at Swissotel Merchant Court and Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay.. The ballrooms have relatively high ceiling..

Try Concorde Hotel, Hotel Fort Canning, or Conrad Centennial

oh, and looking at your requirements, you might want to try Orchard Hotel, M Hotel and Furama Hotel.
