hi graceg as per my knowledge, conrad seats a table of 12 pax compare to most other hotels that seats a table of 10 pax. Therefore with the price you have its still cheaper to do lunch.

you might want to take a look at waterfront copthrone, their price is good and they have a few ballrooms

Conrad is charging 938 nett wor.. if you are comparing w Oriental, GWP, etc.. theirs is 828++ which adds up to more.... you need to do a comparison.

I prefer Lunch cos lesser table requirements (most families not that big liao). But if you intending to hold your tea ceremony and solemnisation on that same day, it will be really really rush..

weekend lunch is normally about $90-$100. Usually should not exceed $1k per table for most hotels but some may go up to $1.1k per table so max $110? haha

    Dear all,
What about a Saturday wedding lunch? Do u think it's feasible. I'm worried ppl make it cos work half day...
Well how little can it get? They can't possible so cheap just because it's lunch and reduce a lot. It's still the same food served!!

but i guess wedding lunches are not appropriate with elders in both families, esp if they want expect a grand wedding dinner .. even though i want a simple wedding lunch.
